Which Language?

i suggest you .NET. Because those day .net is Popular.

For Web designing i suggest u the best language is .Net which is used for dynamic web page creation. .NET applications are usually built using Microsoft's Visual Studio.NET development environment, which means that programmers spend less time writing code and more time designing, integrating, and testing your new Website and Web application.

Well no doubt that these days most of the people likes to work in .Net , and its very popular and you will see many more flexibility in it but we can't ignore the importance of the Java because now in these days there are very less people of Java in the field of web marketing so if you are expert in java then your demand will be very high since more people are working in .Net....

I think this question depends on what is it that you intend to program. If you intend to make a windows based application then I would recommend .NET. However if you have to use other resources such as connections to Databases (such as MySQL or Oracle) I would suggest you use Java. It offers better compatibility with open source softwares.

Hey why don't you go for a PHP option.i think it will be a better option and there are much prospect of that too.
