The Common Language Runtime (CLR) is a core component of Microsoft's .NET initiative. It is Microsoft's implementation of the Common Language Infrastructure (CLI) standard, which defines an execution environment for program code.

CLR is the most important component. NET. Because, as I put it in the Java Runtime Environment (JRE - Java Runtime Environment). Net has its own non-CLR. Runtime Environment, in principle, provides a path for which the program can be implemented.

This is Microsoft's implementation of the common language infrastructure standard that defines an execution environment, the program code. CLR stand for common language runtime. It was used for execution of program code, it uses s bytecode which known as a Intermediate language. The runtime automatically handles object layout and manages references to objects, releasing them when they are no longer used. Objects whose life is managed in this way are called managed data.
