Currently seeking a creative and experienced J2EE professional having extensive experience in coding, testing, design and architecture of distributed applications using the techniques of OOD, J2EE architecture and design patterns. Candidate will have worked extensively with major J2EE technologies such as Spring Framework, UML, JDBC, JNDI, JMS, Quartz AJAX, Hibernate, I-Batis, Servlet, EJB, JSP, XML/XSL/XSLT/XSD, JUNIT, Shell Scripting and be familiar with both Linux and Windows platforms.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and one to four years of work experience with a high-level structured programming language including one year of hands-on design and development of enterprise type applications. Knowledge and experience with relational databases, EJB, Java application server, Velocity, and Eclipse is a must. Prior exposure to insurance applications is preferred but not required. (Note: applicants with more years of experience may be considered for hire as a senior systems developer.)
