Outreach Technology Services needs experienced object-oriented programmers to develop the applications that empower the largest unified outreach organization in American higher education. We're looking for programmers who can come to the table ready to re-factor, code, test,
deploy, and innovate, all while keeping the end users in mind. A tall order? Indeed, but exciting opportunities exist for the skilled coder who can find elegant solutions to our customer needs. We have a current opening for developers who can work with online systems (such as purchasing and enrollment), and who have experience working Web services, security protocols, and external authentication systems. Of
course we want someone with excellent analytical, interpersonal and written communications skills, and the ability to work on a team. And it is critical to have an appreciation for working with diverse audiences. This job will be filled as intermediate, mid-level, or advanced, depending on the successful candidate's education and experience. Minimum educational and work-related experience requirements are:
Associate's degree plus two years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. This is a fixed-term appointment funded for one year from date of hire with excellent possibility of re-funding.
