    Hi,
PPC is pay per click in which advertiser needs to pay for each click in searching. Whereas, CPA means cost per action which allows advertiser to choose some actions like impressions, click or acquisition for which they ready to pay. Both used for online marketing.

    Greetings,

PPC stands for Pay Per Click. It shows how much money you need to pay whenever a visitor clicks on your advertises.
CPA stands for Cost Per Action. It indicates how much money the advertiser has to pay whenever someone does a specific action, which could perhaps be watching a video, registering to your website or downloading and trying a software.

PPC = Pay Per Click - It is a general description of advertising where you just pay every time a user clicks on your ad.

CPA = Cost Per acquisition - How many order/purchases did you get divided by your cost.

The main difference between PPC and CPA is that, the web marketing advertiser pays first and then measures the conversion and traffic afterwards in PPC, while in Cost Per Acquisition advertising, the advertiser receives the traffic first and pays only after having converted visitors to customers.

Online advertising models show up on Web sites in several forms — cost per click (CPC), cost per thousand (CPM) and cost per acquisition (CPA).
Publishers and advertisers should know and consider all three depending on the situation.
But it’s clear that CPC and CPM dominate online advertising. CPC in particular is the dominate form for major Internet players such as Bing, Facebook and Google, while CPM is often preferred for other sites, especially ones oriented to content.
CPC is popular with text-oriented ads that appear on search engines while CPM is popular with image-oriented banner /display ads. In the first case, the emphasis is on response. In the second, the emphasis is on branding. All advertising strives for some combination of branding and response.

1.Cost Per Acquisition is an effective Marketing tool where it gives more importance to conversions (leads, customers) rather than clicks. In this CPA Model, the web marketing advertisers pay only every time a site visitor is converted into customers. The internet marketing advertiser is not charged per click but per conversion. It is calculated by dividing the cost of advertising by the number of leads or customers for a given period of time. The main difference between PPC and CPA is that, the web marketing advertiser pays first and then measures the conversion and traffic afterwards in PPC, while in Cost Per Acquisition advertising, the advertiser receives the traffic first and pays only after having converted visitors to customers.
.Pay per click (PPC) is an online advertising model used on search engines, advertising networks, and content websites, such as blogs, where advertisers only pay when a user actually clicks on an advertisement to visit the advertisers' website.
