    Default PayPal........scam???

    My brother likes this paypal thing and wants me to get into it because it is easy, free, and you get money for doing basically nothing. I was wondering if I should do it?
    Is it a scam or something?
    Does it really work?
    Will I get money fast?
    I am just wondering if this is a stupid idea

    Please answer telling me why

    Paypal does not pay you just for having an account with them. Paypal is used to send and receive payments to/from several other online retailers such as ebay.

    Paypal is secure than anyother payment gateways today. Take some security measures guided by them to keep your account secure too.

    paypal = not scam
    it is like your ONLINE bank where you store money *(online*again) .. trustworthy.. i've been use it for 4 years and already have 1k in my account and just cashed out some of the money to my bank =|

    the thing is.. you must be careful of phising..

    paypal is just like an online back, it dont pay you, but i have heard they do ban people with out warning sometimes. but its not a scam, they are owned by eBay, iv jused it for teo year with out any problems, millions of people use it: have a read about them http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PayPal

    Paypal is an online service that allows you to transfer money from place to place which you pay a small fee for as a seller of anything. Buyers do not pay any fees which makes it popular amongst buyers.

    Of course Paypal won't pay you for using it's service... How would that work anyway?

    I guess you can see Paypal as sort of a bank.

    It also gives you added security that no one knows your bank or personal details when paying you in an attempt to fight fraud amongst other things I guess.
