eBay/Paypal Question?

Earlier on today, I paid for an item bought over eBay. I have checked my Paypal account and the money has gone from my end but is 'Unclaimed' by the seller.
What does this mean?

It is possibly a very simple answer but one I cant figure out as I have never come across it before and I have bought a lot this way.

The other party has to accept your payment…they can decline it and it will be returned without charging any fees. The other party hasn’t logged in to accept the payment yet.

well if u bought something off ebay. the payment should be automatically taken off. specially if it is abuy it now auction.

make sure u buy from sellers who have 100% ffeedback. those are the ones you can trust mostly. and sometimes u get scammed on ebay.

It means that the seller has not accepted payment. Check to see if this is one of the methods of payment he accepts. Ebay are very naughty at the moment and try to make sellers use PayPal as they (Ebay) make more money that way . Oh yes Paypal is part of Ebay don't let them fool you. It means the seller hasn't claimed the money yet. i think.

The seller just has to claim the sale, that's all.

Most sellers have automatic acceptance of payments made to their account. Sounds like this one didn't.

sometimes the seller actually needs to "accept" the payment and it might say unclaimed or waiting for aproval until s/he approves it that's it ^_^

The seller just didn't acknowledge the sale yet.
