how does western union work?
I'm going to get an apartment with a friend who is moving back but she wants to send money via western union and i have no clue how it works. Do i need to give her a specific address of the western union i can pick it up from or do i get a call from them or do i just wait a day after she told me she sent it to pick it up??? I need someone to literally explain it to me "Western Union for Dummies" style.

She will either send you a moneygram (by mail) or you will get a phone call from her or from Western Union saying the money is available. You'll get a confirmation no. and then go to any Western Union branch office and ID yourself with that confirmation number.

she will send you a pin number once the money is sent then you need to go to any western union money center with your id proof and get the money.
