PPC = pay per click advertising, where advertiser pay for per click on their ad and CPA = cost per action where advertiser pay for doing some kinda of action, such as signing for free lead etc.

I think the CPA could lead more conversion and maybe it could even more than PPC.

PPC stands for Pay per Click and CPA stands for Cost Per Action.PPC is where we pay money for every visitor that visits the website and CPA is where we pay only if the visitor performs some specific action on the website.

    Cost per Acquisition
1.Cost Per Acquisition is an effective Marketing tool where it gives more importance to conversions (leads, customers) rather than clicks. In this CPA Model, the web marketing advertisers pay only every time a site visitor is converted into customers. The internet marketing advertiser is not charged per click but per conversion. It is calculated by dividing the cost of advertising by the number of leads or customers for a given period of time. The main difference between PPC and CPA is that, the web marketing advertiser pays first and then measures the conversion and traffic afterwards in PPC, while in Cost Per Acquisition advertising, the advertiser receives the traffic first and pays only after having converted visitors to customers.
2.CPA is a vital tool in accessing the actual value of a marketing campaign. One cannot spend thousand of thousand dollars for a low yield, so cost per acquisition can inform us how much we are spending to actual profit. . In general, cost per acquisition is performance based, and commonly pays a commission on products and/or services that are actually sold .The CPA can provide advertisers with an effective marketing model that can assist them further by lending valuable data on how leads convert to actual sales and length of time involved in the closing of the sale. As an assessment tool, the CPA can be extremely effective in providing necessary data for future marketing campaigns
3.ADVANTAGES: It is an affordable way to draw prospective customers.. It is a kind of direct advertising which in turn increases your ROI. Most effective strategy for an immediate rise in the traffic

    Pay per Click
1.Pay per click (PPC) is an online advertising model used on search engines, advertising networks, and content websites, such as blogs, where advertisers only pay when a user actually clicks on an advertisement to visit the advertisers' website.
    2. Advertisers bid on keyword phrases relevant to their target market. When a user types a keyword query matching an advertiser's keyword list, or views a webpage with relevant content, the advertiser's ads may be displayed. Such ads are called a sponsored links or sponsored ads, and appear adjacent to or above the "natural" or organic results on search engine results pages, or anywhere a webmaster or blogger chooses on a content page.

I have recently been trying to figure out PPC to CPA affiliate marketing. My first attempt was through an offer on NeverBlue Ads promoting a $250 grocery coupon. This CPA offer required a zip code submission to be counted as a conversion. The offer had a low $1.20 CPA, which means for every sign-up (acquisition) I would make $1.20.
This was the first offer I had with NeverBlue, and PPC -> CPA marketing in general. This means I had no history with Neverblue and they would be less willing to accommodate any special requests I had. Also, since this was my first time trying this I did not want to take a huge risk with my money. After reading countless forum posts I realized that you have to take a risk to make a profit. That being said, choosing a low paying CPA deal often means that the CPC’s will also be proportionately lower, reducing my risk.

If you are new to affiliate marketing have you come to understand how CPA works? If you have then you are ahead of me, but truly there are quite a number of affiliates who only do CPA and they do it primarily with PPC (pay per click). These people have figured out how to game the system successfully with low click bids that get high click through results, with sales that far out weigh the cost of the clicks. These guys do CPA (and sometimes PPS) with PPC only, and they rarely get sales from their organic content. Is this really true? Well for the most part yes, but there are some exceptions.Real famous marketers who get big social media followings can actually be making their primary income with PPC while getting a secondary income from various referrals they make directly from their blogs and websites to other marketers who want to use their methods. In this way, by their reputation they can make good incomes from recommending various systems they use, like tracking and software applications.Whether they use CPA deals or simple PPS through networks is not really important really, just that they get the additional traffic from interested new or existing affiliates who have heard of their success and will try to emulate them.Do you want to meet some affiliates like that? OK, just attend the affiliate conventions and summits that are going on every year. These meetups are the opportunity you have to network with them. The best way is to become friends with a top PPC marketer and learn from that one guy (or gal of course).
The other way is to subscribe to their blog posts and get involved in their conversations. If these individuals produce a course or ebook, then you can buy it and really absorb their methods. I recommend dkoing that anyway, but only after really getting good recommendations from others about them.SEO selling is different in many ways. It really depends on having lots of content coming out all the time. I do that, but actually on a small scale compared to some people. Many top affiliates in the SEO ranks have tens of thousands of pages being produced every year, and they get rich just from the volumn of material they have indexed in search. The SEO person does not pay for clicks like the PPC affiliate, but the time factor in realizing commissions is greater. Once you decide on which model to follow, no matter how agressive you are, the SEO system will take longer to make money with, Once you do reach the money level however, it is better because you can move on the the next content project, and simply tweak the older projects on a systematic basis. For the new affiliate who is patient and loves to write, my SEO affiliate publishing model is good, and over time you will have a presence and a steady flow of traffic to work with that does not go away. You have to make changes to steady authority pages on a regular basis by changing the offerings on them to keep things new and fresh.PPC affiliates make money faster because they just launch new bidding projects for keywords and query strings that are cheap, and they convert at a high rate. This is much harder to do than it is to talk about. Have a look at Clickbank and just look at all the PPC ebooks they have on the marketplace. Most affiliates want the fast money. There is much more risk in that PPC model, because if a big ad service provider changes their requirements suddenly, the CPC (cost per click) can instantly be increased and your funds can be spent quickly. Anyway there are some good systems out there that are real and through which you can learn the PPC methods the right way. There are also some but less that offer my kind of affiliate money making through SEO publishing. Patience is a virtue in my business.

Maybe the best prescription for new affiliates is to learn as much as possible about both types of affiliate marketing income. Over time, you will be able to figure out which one you like best. One ebook system that is popular now is. I do not own it so I am not plugging it, but I know it is selling well and seems to be a good example. There are many others out there as well.

Join a good member site with a constant flow of information before launching into any big new projects with no experience like . Lots of good information there, but you will have to join beyond the free access to really get into the good stuff. There are many others but this one has a good reputation.
