I recently read an article that had explained about various myths about SEO. A user had explained his problem of getting high traffic from PPC but no conversion even after spending so much. He told that the number of visitors are overwhelming but no sales whatsoever.
What could be the possible reason for this?
No idea.. :S
Hi,
I think there lose and profit are same in this format called PPC.
He didn't target selling keywords? You can't just fill up your adwords account with alot of money and hope for the best. You still have to research keywords to bid on.
PPC advertising is a dynamic market, more supply, the higher your ad appears on the list. As the name suggests, you do not have to pay the listing, but only the actual click. It allows for maximum visibility, but you can control the amount you want to spend your marketing campaign. The risks do not exist, and you can clearly monitor the effectiveness of PPC advertising campaign.
When you are going to spend money keywords, why can't you research on keywords first,..after finalizing the analysis with high visited keyword,Choosing the right keyword is the second step you need take..also visits varies from day to day,we should keep on changing keywords too..Although PPC gives instant traffic to your site with 100 % bounce rate..which is waste of time and money

I think a common misconception, is people think they can just out money into their adwords campaign and run it expecting to make a ton of $. They forget they have to do research on keywords, the niche etc... and targeted and tracking.
There is no easy answer to this question. There are a number of factors to take into consideration before deciding on whether to spend money on PPC advertising. It would be foolish to say it is a waste of money, otherwise some of our major companies wouldn't get involved in this kind of advertising.
Although PPC advertising is right for some, and can bring in a lot of business, you need to weigh up all the factors to ensure it is a viable proposition. If you believe it is, tread carefully and test the waters first, and above all do thorough research on which keywords to use.

PPC is not waste of money if your add and the landing page is very well done. If you have a good ROI, you can obtain more benefit then the money wasted with the PPC campaign. PPC is traffic and a good place to search engines, but when it comes to sales, not profits should be so, and depending on what we pay for PPC.
