Submit your site to over 100 search engines

It might be a big temptation to go for 100 or even 1000 search engines but the question is, is it really worth it? Why would you submit your site to thousands of search engines? If those engines are not visited by humans, you will not get any traffic, and when there is no traffic, it is quite worthless and frankly, a wastage of time. Maybe you can look for Google, Yahoo, Ask etc.
