What does the term Keyword Prominence refer to?

Keyword prominence refers to the placement of keyword on the entire web page and also the location of keyword on HTML Source code.

Title, Header, Meta tags and description are considered as a prominent place for particular keyword.

It refers to the fact that the keywords placed in important parts of a webpage are given priority by the search engines.

Keyword prominence means placement of your most important keyword in content. top of the content is the best option. You can put it top, middle and bottom of the content as per priority of the keyword.
