Search engines has a huge database which they update each second by adding and deleting web pages. Web crawlers/bots or spiders are the main searchers who keep searching for updates on the internet and feeds on it and then put it in the database of the search engine which reflects when we search for certain kind of keyword. this is the reason relevancy as per keywords and specially content in a web page is essential to get regular visits and proper considerations from bots and ultimately search engines as well.
