I have seen many people and firms offering same kinds of services and give big promises for better ranking. But according to me , this works previously not now. Now seo became more complex and each day new methods are being found to increase back links..

yes it is work but if u submit ur website links in good pr directory it will be good and give u good result

Submitting your site in high rank directories is good for your ranking.
and I agree with second one, changing Strategy is needed for winning the Competition.
