Use Meta tags for your blog. Aside from keywords on these tags and posts, you should also consider keywords on your page URL to make it more searchable. Regular updates is a must so it's no longer a useful advice here. Remember that although creative writing is good on blogs especially on titles, it is still better to use layman's term to make it more understandable and readable.

All the SEO methods are same for blogs as well as websites.Try to post unique and fresh content in your blog posts.You should keep care targeted keywords should include in your blog title.
