@Jame Smeth, May I ask about which rank you are talking about ? There are two types of rankings Google provide: Page Rank and SERP. Both are different type of rankings. Page rank is the remark given by Google to every website depending on numerous factors ,whereas SERP is search engine result pages, where your website is boosted from one position to another for specific keywords.

I agree with you specially nowadays when Google launched its new algorithm for content so now articles dont provide much link juice as it has been.

but only the article submisson,i think it is not that good,kinds of backlinks are useful to the site,not only the one way,that is not so userful i think
