outlook vs window live mail

I've always used outlook but recently I upgraded my computer from xp to win7 and they are "pushing" windows live mail - which is better? will wlm give me all the features of out look like a calendar and reminder? - can I share it with other ppl like i did with outlook?

Outlook is the best because windows mail is not that safe.....

I haven't ever used Outlook express for emails, I prefer gmail and hotmail services.
