Microsoft vs Power point?

Word is for documents which are usually in printed form, such as letters, pamphlets etc.


Powerpoint is for presentations, which contain mixed text, images and animations or videos. The presentations are usually best presented on a screen, rather than in printed form.

So both are best and essential..!
