Google is popular and big. Every search engines shows results differently. There is no search engines that shows good results.

We can't compare both because of there functionality,this is a search engine, but Microsoft is related with OS and official packages, both are different platform we can say ..But Microsoft is very rich in its operating system,and other products,but google came into existence in 2001.but Microsoft is the old and most popular ..

After workign for search engine companies and even at once for Microsoft, I can tell you, Google is the industry standard. Everyone wants to be like Google and rank on google.

About 2 years ago Bing tried to convince web-masters to make special code just for bing so that people could vie page content without even visiting the website. Noe, google set up an automatic way of indexing, copying and showing users their search results before they even click on something.

At one point bing ( microsoft ) tried to increase their position by offering major brands to le-list with Google so that only their results would arrive on Bing results. Microsoft is horrible when it comes to search and providing for the user. Their business model is based on making a profit instead of being revolutionaries. On the other hand, google continues to lose money with servers hosting you tube videos, but they compensate for that with their ad revenue and brand recognition.
