IE has continuously been losing market share for the past several months. It had a market share of 64.64% in October 2009 and the recent update ( August 2010) is that it has a market share of 60.40%. Even firefox with the second highest market share has been losing market share. The only browser which has gained considerable market share is Google' Chrome . It's market share has raised to 7.52%( august 2010) from 3.58% ( October 2009) . Though firefox too gains popularity, it is Chrome which looks promising.
