Some employee from Microsoft leaked some presentation, details of Windows 8 that were presented to computer manufacturers.

From the details it seems Windows 8 wants OEMs to build PCs that rapidly wake up from sleep mode and are aware of their surroundings. The PCs should leverage hardware including Webcams and proximity sensors to recognize users and sense when those users are nearby their machines.

My PC My Way is a new feature of Windows 8. It makes heavy use of sensor technologies to improve the user’s interaction with the operating system.Microsoft’s leaked documents, which we are not showing for obvious reasons, details several scenarios how My PC My Way makes working with Windows 8 more comfortable.

The first scenario describes a gaming session that gets interrupted by a visitor. Windows 8 will automatically pause the game if the player moves the head or moves away from the PC. Games can make use of location awareness and accelerometer based gaming.

The same scenario describes the adaptive brightness technology that automatically adjusts the brightness of the screen depending on the lighting conditions.

The second scenario mentions a user who is reading an online magazine on the PC. Key features in this scenario are touch support (Microsoft says great touch support), location awareness, e-reading and wireless connectivity.

Just Got Vista (I had Windows 7, but I made it slow cos i download crap all the time, so welcome back vista) And now, what i see! Windows 8

I installed Windows 7 on mine and it runs like a dog, all right I do admit it is probably time to update my PC.

That would be a good option to see the win 7 overall performance.

It's no secret Microsoft has already begun work on the successor to Windows 7 version is called Windows 8. There was some advice from a press release in 2012, and all the usual marketing hype has been launched on the themes propagated by the employees, calling it revolutionary and completely different from previous versions of the operating system. But for most of the details have been placed under a lid tightly closed.

Here are some of the features:

1. Touch Screens: We have already saw Touch Screen version of OS ie Windows 7, so it is sure that there must be a lot of improvements in it, may be like multi-touch capability and lot more.
2. Biometrics Support: New Windows 8 would have inbuilt Biometric password login support, now who need to type a password when you have your face or eye or finger print to do.
