    try to save your document on microsoft word 97/2000xp.doc it means that, it can be opened to all those platforms.

    I don't care in fact what kind of Word they have. Sorry, but it's their problem to upgrade their Word.

    If the format is .doc of document then i think it will open in any version of Microsoft Office.

    Save it in 97 format.!! So that all versions would be able to open the document.. Its simple.. Save As..
