Today at Mobile World Congress 2010, Microsoft Corp. CEO Steve Ballmer unveiled the next generation of Windows® Phones, Windows Phone 7 Series. With this new platform, Microsoft offers a fresh approach to phone software, distinguished by smart design and truly integrated experiences that bring to the surface the content people care about from the Web and applications. For the first time ever, Microsoft will bring together Xbox LIVE games and the Zune music and video experience on a mobile phone, exclusively on Windows Phone 7 Series. Partners have already started building phones; customers will be able to purchase the first phones in stores by holiday 2010.

Wow .. what a fantastic information. Thank you for this one Sticker![]()
windows phone 7 series might well be all those things but it's really really ugly! And what a complete waste of screen real estate. I could forgive Microsoft if WP7 was to be used on small screen devices as the orange boxes would be decently thumb sized.

it doesn't sound and look so bad to me![]()
this is great!
I think everyone borrows a lot of certain positive things from other devices/ideas. But I think they took it a hell of a lot farther, and it rocks. Still simplistic, but way more interactive. If it's stable, smooth, and responsive like most of the demos have been, it's a real winner.
well i have use google nexus one, its much better than windows phone, anybody tried it?

Look is nice .Sound quality is not well .
These information which you can share is really great. Windows 7-Series phone may well be all those things, but it's really ugly! And what exactly is wasted space on the screen. I could forgive Microsoft WP7 was to use the devices screen size small orange boxes were honorably thumb.
