Default im using windows vista and the microsoft update dosnt work but windows

update does how can i fix it? im using windows vista ultimate and i cant do microsoft updates but the windows updates work in the internet options it says the active x controls for the microsoft updates are damaged how can i fix them somone please help
i have gone to the website for the active x controls and all they talk about is windows xp service pack 2 why would the windows updates work but not the microsoft ones
i have contacted microsoft they been having do tons and none of its helped lol im hating my self for going to windows vista ultimate i never had these problems on xp pro

reinstall active x. download it from the microsoft website.
