what it means "economic development" and "political development" ?

Both of them are complementary to each other. Improvement of one is not possible without the other. In case the economic situation atarts getting worse the legs of the chairs of the politicians also starts weakening.

There is a high correlation between economic success for a country and it's political freedom. It's only when we are free to act in our own self interest does a country prosper. Just look at East and West Germany after WW II. The west was more free and more prosperous, the east was a closed society with only the political elites living well.

The same goes for Taiwan and the People's Republic of China. Israel and their neighbors. South and North Korea. The list goes on and on.

Now, much of Europe is a socialist controlled. Country after country has a structured society. Country after country is in economic crisis. Greece is just the tip of the problem. In the fervor to 'help' the Greeks, the EU is sewing the seeds for their own destruction.
