Investor's Business Daily - U.S. applications rebounded from 3 straight declines to a 6-year low, climbing 10.9% in the week ended June 6, the Mortgage Bankers Association said. Applications for loans to buy a home jumped 12.8% from the prior week's 5-year low. Refinance activity rose 8.4%. Loan demand grew even though the 30-year fixed-rate mortgage rose to 6.24%. The 15-year fixed rate rose to 5.78%.
