Stumbleupon adds the captcha code

This is caused by some users abusing the system too much using bots such that stumbleupon had no choice but to add the captcha code & impose this inconvenience to all members.

So don't be surprised if you get a screen with the captcha code when you write a review.

Hmm I haven't seen anything like that yet. But I hope they dont over-use it. Writing in "captcha codes" is so annoying!

I dont think they are a bother unless you can not read them, then I get annoyed and forget about that site.

What I hate is the math question ones LOL

i heard the captcha code remains active for a month and then they remove it. I guess they just want to prevent the system from being abused.

Too bad. I see people abusing stumbleupon to drive traffic at some many places. This is only going to make it a little difficult for the abusers and for loyal customers
