Let me know please what is reciprocal link.

sometimes when i submitted the link then i saw the reciprocal word but i didn't have the meaning of reciprocal.And now its my curiosity to know about this..

I also wanted t know about reciprocal link because I'm not sure of my idea about that. What I think is that when you submit in reciprocal link they must have a link from you site. Is that it?

A reciprocal link is a mutual link between two websites to ensure mutual traffic.

Example: Website A links to website B and B links to A.

Reciprocal links are links with other sites which are usually are related to the theme of your website. The concept is very easy to understand, you link to a site and that site links back to you. The idea behind this goes back to you scratch my back I scratch yours. Some sites have specific requirements when linking. For example some sites might have restrictions based on content, page rank, or even domain names.

Reciprocal links means when you exchange a links from someone. But now a days this kind of link exchange is not at all good idea.
