Does Squidoo & Hubpages really help?

One of my friend using Squidoo & Hubpages said it really helped improve his ranking in google. Is it true?

Also I seen that these links are do follow. I might give it a try and see if it works. Please share your experience on the same.

Well worth the effort in my opinion as long as your lenses/hubs contain original content.

yes, if you right an informative squidoo lens or hubpage, you will be rewarded. It's a matter of you get out what you put in.

A backlink from a high PR site such as squidoo or a hubpage is worth the effort.
