So you are telling us that backlinks are inbound links. But if I paste a link of my site into your site then will that link be treated as backlink or need at least one click from your site to my site through that link?

A link is a channel that connect two or more web-pages with each other. A back-links is the subcategory of link.
Link can be categories as

1. back-links or inbound links
2. out-bound link

The link of your site placed on other sites act as a inbound or back-links for your site. and link of other site on your site are outbound links.

I think backlinks are super best choice now a days when SEO is at the peak. I always prefer to creat backlinks because i ever get superb results from there

I think that I understand your question. Basically a link is just a shorter way of saying backlink. It is the same exact thing. A link is a backlink and a backlink is a link.
