Success With link directories?

    Have you had any success listing your site in a link directory? has it increased your PR rank in google or brought any significant traffic?

    Nope not much. The traffic from directories is almost zero.

    About backlinks very few of them have been counted as backlinks by google.

    Dude you dont get much traffic from directories..
    but you get back links.. to improve you serps..
    Well for best traffic you can use socail bookmarking
    it works as both like traffic and also back links...

    yeah...just good for backlinks, not so much for traffic.

    I have noticed the same thing. I've not actually received a lot of traffic. I've noticed they have increased the number of backlinks to the site, but that's about it. I have submitted my site, to a variety of free and paid directories too.

    Yeah they help in building backlinks but rarely i see them send any traffic.

    You can add your site to big paid directories to gain more backlinks and PR.
