If you submit 10 articles in 500 different articles directories ,it will be considered as a spam.

Writing 500 unique articles would provide better results although it will take you a long time to write them.

I think this will count as dupicate if you submit 10 articles in 500 article directories.

You would be better served submitting them to the top 10 article directorys then a to as many niche article websites as you can find.

I would concentrate on 10-20 key article directories and spread out your submissions among them.
