I have two sites and have submitted both to directories in the past two months. I have found that my 10 year old domain/site gets recognized much quicker than my 2 month old domain/site. It seems that older sites are trusted more and approved sooner than young sites. This may be the best reason to purchase old domains for promoting new sites.

Yes indeed useful. What I am searching for is an automation tool for that as well. I use Magic Article Rewriter/Submitter for Article Acquiescence and that saves a lot of time. Do you know by chance any tool for directory submission as well.
