Default How do I get rid of my last name or what I wrote on a comment I placed in...

...an online review on a website? I have posted a negative comment about a company on a website and I made a mistake that I included my first name and last name at the bottom of the comments. Now what's happening is that when someone google searches for my name, that negative comment shows up first. The problem is that other people also responded to the comment and the discussion got pretty ugly that;s why I'd like to remove the whole comment.
I have asked the web site to either remove my last name or the comment but they are not being cooperative. Is there any way to ask them to do so legally? Or there is nothing I can do about it?

Wow... is the first time I hear anybody having this problem . In my opinion you can only count on the kindness of the site owners to remove your name since you voluntary wrote your name .
Next time be more careful .

You can create a fake profile in a well know social network with same name is yours and claim it's not you, but him.

Write an email to the website owner and try and explain the problem.

You can click on your account settings found in your particular hosting site. Then find the command link "hide last name". Presto.

In my experience, your name is probably there for good. Sorry to hear of the problem.

I don't understand why the site owner wouldn't change your name on the comment for you. Seems ridiculous to be stubborn about something like that. Maybe try writing them again to see what the real issue is.
