Legal issues with PayPal - PLEASE help!!!?
Basically, PayPal has frozen my account which contains over $1500. I provide ALL the info they ask of me, but then I just get an email saying they want more. I found the paypalsucks.com website and I am soooo scared that I will never see my money, as thousands of people are going through the SAME thing I am!! Does anyone know what I can do, or anyone know of a GOOD lawyer in the North Carolina area that deals with this? Please help. I don't know what to do!!
No, it's not a scam. I found out by actually going to their website and checking my account balance. It says i have "limited access". It wasn't because of some email I answered.

Look up a lawyer in the Bar Association of your state. If you call them or email them and tell them what happened to you, they will help you find the right type of lawyer. I hope this helps. Good luck.

Have a lawyer write a 'due demand' letter to PayPal on his stationary. May be 25-75 bucks.
Try this first, before you hire the attorney. It may be the best, and cheapest, first course of action.
You may also want to contact you State's Attorney Generals Office. Withholding your money MAY be a criminal violation.
Oh yeah, like Navymom wrote, BEFORE you do ANYTHING, make sure that you are not being scammed.
Log in to your account and check to see what's going on.
Also, as PayPal offers interest bearing accounts, they are probably regulated by banking/lender laws. Contact your State's Banking Commisioner's Office.

Welcome to PayPal.
If you use PayPal, this will eventually happen to you.
I'd like to give you good news, but there isn't any.
I "received" a small amount of money from the PayPal class action lawsuit. They "paid" it to me by crediting it into my PayPal account..... which they then froze for "unusual activity".
Dealing with PayPal is like banging your head against a brick wall. The only good thing you can say about it is it feels good when you stop.
To RX... I also know people who've sued them and won. But I do NOT know anyone that's collected on such a judgment.

ALTAPAY Is another one like paypal
I have had a few bumps with paypal my self. They just do wearied stuff sometimes. usually after a couple strange phone calls to them things get straightened out. You just need to learn from those mistakes and never do them again.
Sometimes it might mean completely changing the way you do business with paypal.
Good luck
