    Default Copyright Issues With Online Magazine...?

    I just created an online magazine and used images without permission.

    However, at the end of my magazine, I said that none of them were mine and obviously, took credit for none. I also said if they wanted to know who took the photo or what it was for, they could contact me. I provided an e-mail address.

    Can I get sued even if I post a disclaimer like that?

    Yes, I think you can be sued , you should contact first and ask for their permission .
    It is not only the fact that you don't get credit for the photo is that their photo is used without them getting credit for it .

    Yes, you can be sued even if you put a disclaimer. You need to have prior permission before putting any content that is not yours.

    Could somebody explain it for me please what is the fair use? Say you have got a news site and you use images for commentary purposes - do you need to buy editorial images or can you use anyone off the internet?

    You can't use copyrighted images unless you have permission from the owner. You can either buy royalty free images or get images from stock image sites and use on your website.

    Yes, you need permission even if you say you didn't take the photos. Probably goes without saying, but always consult an actual attorney rather than simply taking forum opinions as fact.
