best way to takle paypal fraud

Mr. A. There has been no credible source to agree that paypal has been hacked.. so far.. I am not gonna say that is is impossible.. but so far nobody got hacked..

If you meant pharming of phising that is a different thing... people make look alike website look alike logos to confuse you and you enter the email and password which they will get it an email or so.. only one thing can pervent from happening that.. you yourself..

Do not enter in your password anywhere other than paypal site i.e. website that starts with https://paypal.com anything other than this.. will surely be a fraud site... so they are not even hacking it.. you are just providing them with the password.. and they are simply loggin in... that's all

thats right never heard of paypal being hacked but make sure before logging in check the url of the site

thanks for the mail address Matt. In ie7 i have seen you get that option to turn the phishing detection thing on but didn't find anything for FF2 any idea where i can look for it

In firefox> Click tools> Options>

Check the box which states "Tell me if the site I am visiting is a suspected forgery"

It should be automatically checked.. I prefer keeping it checked..

thanks for sharing the tip slnet, the box is checked by default when firefox is installed but to be sure just follow the steps that slnet has provided in the above post. under options go to the security tab and you can find that option.

Hey guys.. continued from the top... I enterd my username.. as you are a stupid fraud and password as bullshit.. to see actually what happens.. and surprisingly they logged me in... and you know what the funny part.. they asked me to update my credit card information.. you know the rest right.. everything looks exact the same way as the pay pal.. when you try to click the tab up top.. they have a warning popups saying your account is limited.. and can't do anything right now.. hehe.. so again.. pls check the url you are visiting..
