Best 3D Software?

My choice is LIGHTWAVE, MAYA and 3D.

where can i download Maya, is it free?

I use maya 'coz for me it is easier and have a really good quality.

I know someone who know 3d animations.. and he uses Blender.. He really likes it not just because of it's good features but also because it is opensource /free software.. try it.

There are too many 3d Software available in the market. From my point of View Maya is the best 3D and animation software are finest. It is well known so you can get it easily.

Most of the major 3D packages are very similar - think of it being like Internet Explorer and Firefox, they're both designed for the same purpose but are a bit different to work with and most people have a preference. In my experience, Maya tends to be favoured in the animation and film industry, and 3DS Max in the games industry, so if you are choosing which to learn, you may want to take that into consideration”.

LightWawe, Maya and 3DS max. I think that each of these three softwares has its field of action where it is dominant. So use them in conjunction is the best.
