why do you want to copy that into Photoshop.. .from experience, AI works so much better.. .that is if you are trying to make a graphical art.. .not editing pics.. .your just giving yourself a hard time.. .

I'm trying to simply copy vector art as a path into Photoshop from Illustrator.
According to what I remember (and the User Guides), you can easily do this by dragging the art from Illustrator into Photoshop while holding the command key (MAC). I am doing this, but it is still copying as raster art.
HELP! Am I missing something really dumb?
My art in Illustrator is type that has been converted to outlines.

try to export images as vector images from the Photoshop file menu-export
Photoshop can not export vector pictures.......Corel can.
