some logos are absolutely stunning not that they are attractive but there is an surprise element that makes the logo more interesting just like the FEDEX which has an arrow in its symbol, audience appreciate the surprise element in logo design.

Yes, Logos are more important and we need to give much importance for that. Instead it irritates people, it must attract the people with its simplicity.
Some of the Simple Logos that just attracted my mind are Skype, FB, Twitter and so on. These types of logos are really more simple than all others but more powerful.
