Check your sitemap submit it to webmaster again and if it doesn't appears then just do one work if you are writing articles to your website then just put wordpress on your site because you can just stick a page in the home page when you change the niche and it never affects your site.

I think google will take about 10 to 15 days to update your account and to re-index your site.

You should wait few more days if you sent request already to google.
