Pagerank is determined by number and quality of backlinks. You have to continue getting backlinks for your site to maintain / improve PR.

you can check your links on goole webmaster tool..to see if you did get some quality links...just continue your linkbuilding in order to regain your PR on the next update...

I seee.. Ifyour working to hard time to optimize your site. Well I guess u need to slow down a bet with ur submission. Do a couple of submissions each day. Segregate your task. What I mean is. Do 5-10 directory submission this day, then do 5 social bookmarking next day, 5 forum posting next day, 5 blogroll exchange day.

This would allow increase google page rank and search ening ranking. Drive more traffic and get indexed quicker.

Page rank is based on the back link. you should increase the back link.
you should also update your website it also effects the page rank.

1) Where do you check your page rank?Sometimes it depends on the tools you are using?

2) Page Rank are always changing their algo's. Maybe its one reason.

Good answer jennie. Not i'm doing the link building to get more backlink on my blog. Uniqeu content also give you a chance to get better PR.

You should still making backlinks. And you should change a site content sometimes.

maybe your site will not be updata for many days, so that the link partners will delete your links from their site, so pr got down.
do many outbound link contiously.
