Hello everyone,
I had a quick question, that I think I have an idea of what the answer is already, but would like to see what everyone else thinks as well.
When I do a search for a term in Google, sometimes the keyword I am targeting appears in the top overall spot. However, other times during the day, using the same computer, search term, and without clearing my SE's cache, the results page shows no record of my site.
From what I have read in this forum, I am concluding that the different results happen because the results are getting pulled from different Google data centers.
Is this correct?
If yes, why would some results include my site as number 1, yet other results don't have me listed at all? It would make sense, say if my site ranked 1st in one search and 5th in another -- at least it would appear that Google is updating their data centers and my ranking has dropped since; yet it seems a little inconsistent to have your site listed in one instance and completely missing in the other...
