    It's depends on your site...
    As much as I know most of the sites have 40% of bounce rate.

    The Bounce Rate for a single page is the number of visits who enter the site at a page and leave within the specified timeout period without viewing another page, divided by the total number of visits who entered the site at that page.

    my most of site bounce rate 40 to 50 %

    I think 50 % For Good optimization.

    I think anything under 50% is not bad but I like to keep things around 40% if I can.

    Generally speaking, anything below 30% would be considered a good percentage. Anything up to 50% should be monitored. And anything over 70% would be considered high.

    Also, bounce rate is very dependent on the traffic source. So when analyzing bounce rate, you may get more insight if you also consider the number of page views per visitor and their average time on site. Using these stats together may help you determine what bounce rate is most acceptable for each traffic source.
