Very good post indeed here, and Google has been my phone book for years now it seems. There are so many things in this topic its just crazy to think of what we did before Google came around.

A friend of mine says, "If you can't google it, it doesn't exist." It seems thats becoming more and more of the truth (though finding it on google may be another ballgame). But between gmail, which seems to simply devour all other free e mail hosting with its plethora of features and spam protection, and google earth/maps, its hard to find a reason not to use google. thanks for all the great tips in this thread.
