you won't be able to do that, they keep updating their methods, probably the people that know best spend alot of time and energy doing that and sell the information for a lot of money because people are willing to pay alot for it, so you won't find it for free. Google doesn't want you doing that because neither do I or anybody else.

well we cannot be sure about the ranking as this is totally unknown those ranking factors, but there are some points that as been tested so many time and has been fruitful for so many websites, these are quality back links, well written content, targeting right keywords (you can know list of your keywords that by using free tools available from google or can try other services available) and constantly updating your blog.

First you should go for on page optimization and after doing that start building quality backlinks. Backlinks is the only way to rank keywords.

Tips:
1) Update the Fresh Quality Unique Content Regularly in the Blog,
2) Do Image Optimization,
3) Add the 1 to 3 minutes Unique Video,
4) Submit in the free blog directory,
5) Build more free backlinks with different C-Class IP.

Keywords ranking depend on many factors. Like current competition on keywords, your website optimization, how old your domain is and the kind of links you are collecting. If you build high PR links from theme based sites, rankings can be achieved in less time.
