    Google enhanced its search results with more color, a left hand nav and a few more options. However, the changes make it look a little like Bing.

    I think it is already there though it appears as an "options" link on top of search result pages.

    Its view only has been changed, all the options were already with it only.

    Google's new look is far from impressive. It does not look good but it has nothing to do with Bing's appearance. It does not have any image on its home page. Just forget about the look of bing. I would say that Google has not done a commendable job as far as its new look is concerned.

    I think the Google appearance has noting to do with the Bing search engine, it not showing the competitions and neither the competitions against your queries ....

    I dont think so. Though google change its look, its search features remain same. Google always unique.

    As for me, i liked more the previous look. This is not convenient for me. But I hope soon I'll get accustomed to it.

    That's what everyone keeps remarking here in the office. The visual is very similar once you start searching..their homepages are still different though ;p, one plain, the other more artistic.
