Default Google set the Date to leave China

    Hi,

Google is going to exit from China from April '10 due to censorship issues. Google is not happy with China's steps and that's why they have taken major step.

That's interesting! I thought that Google and China were getting along quite well, and was always suspicious of the business relationship that they had.

Do you have a link to a press release, or article that gives more details?

Google has lost a rather bog market share in China. I think it's not easy for both sides, as China has lost one of the best search engines.

Google, which has a significant share of the search market in China, announced in January that it no longer intended to censor search results in that country and would consider leaving entirely. Google has identified China as the source of attacks on prominent U.S. Web properties and e-mail accounts belonging to human rights activists
