I think google, they're slowing down their algorithm progress and at the same time telling everyone that PR is not a big deal when it comes to SEO... PR is important, right...
To be honest, I never even noticed that it was there to start with. I noticed a popularity chart, but never noticed a page rank graph.
I remember reading somewhere that google did this to get peoples minds off page rank. That its just one small part of the big picture, but people put a lot of focus on it.
I have not noticed such movement for I don't pay much attention to PR.
Thanks,
Google blatantly wouldn't remove PR from the Toolbar, because while the myth prevails that measured Page Rank is vitally important webmasters will continue to install the toolbar. And other than Page Rank, there's really not much need for the toolbar otherwise.
Google wants that presence on as many desktops as it can get.

Why would they do that? Yesterday, Some of my clients PR sites showed PR N/A. Is Google planning to take down the Page Rank system?
I keep hearing rumors there going to get rid of it. I personally like the PR system I just think they need to twick a bit.
hmm, havent hearn about it.
It won't make any effect on SEO campaign. Virtually there is no importance of PR.
PR is just a number which increase with the backlinks but not a major concern.
