My adsense is really down right now, not sure if it is the economic times or the time of year

There is certainly an impact on e-business at many levels. Some businesses are affected more than others, some markets more than others, but when people can't pay their mortgage and jobs are being lost, there is simply less money to go around. I have seen an impact in certain areas of business, and other areas continue to go strong.

I think it depends the type of business that is online. For years now many more people have been wanting to work at home, now it might end up being that way for many with the price of gas. Right now my state alone with maybe 3 others is having such an issue I am not driving anywhere unless I really have to, but business is rocking.

Recession is not affecting all online markets , it depends on business, for example web design market is good from past 3 years even in recession.

The only impact I could see now is the increasing number of service providers. In short, the competition will tremendously increase for sure.
